Biography:


Dr. Namjae Cho is the professor of MIS at the School of Business of Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea. He received his doctoral degree in MIS from Boston University, U.S.A., master degree in Management He received his doctoral degree in MIS from Boston University, U.S.A., master degree in Management. He has published research papers in journals including Industrial Management and Data Systems, Computers and Industry, International Journal of Information Systems and Supply Chain, Journal of Data and Knowledge Engineering, Journal of IT Applications and Management, Asian Journal of Information and Communication. He also published several books including Supply Network Coordination in the Dynamic and Intelligent Environment (IGI Global), Innovations in Organizational Coordination Using Smart Mobile Technology (2013, Springer), Technology Planning and Road Mapping (Sigma Press, 2014). He consulted Korean government organizations and several multinational companies. His research interest includes technology planning and innovation, analysis of IT impacts, strategic alignment and IT governance, e-business strategy, knowledge management and industrial ICT policy. He served as the president of Korea Database Society and the president of Korea MIS Society. He is the Chairman of International ITAM Society and ITAM International Conferences. He is the Chief of Editors of the Asian Journal of Information and Communication and Asian regional editor of the International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management.

Biography:


Fernando A. F. Ferreira is Vice-Dean for financial affairs at the ISCTE Business School of the University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal) & Adjunct Research Professor at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics of the University of Memphis (TN, USA). Previously, he was Visiting Scholar at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (CHIH, Mexico), University of Kaiserslautern (Germany) and Central College of Commerce (Scotland). He holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods Applied to Economics and Management from the University of Algarve (Portugal). In 2009, he was granted a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation fellowship for Post-Doctoral studies at the University of Memphis (TN, USA). He is Associate Editor of the Global Business and Economics Review & Editorial Board Member of several international research journals. He has authored books, book chapters, peer-reviewed papers and made many conference presentations. Some of his works are published in high quality international journals, such as: Journal of the Operational Research Society, Management Decision, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making, Service Business, and International Journal of Strategic Property Management. He has practical experience as group facilitator and his research interests include multiple criteria decision analysis (MCDA), strategic decision making, and integrated systems for performance measurement and risk analysis in finance, insurance, banking & real estate.

Biography:


Yanki Hartijasti is Assistant Professor of Management at Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia. She earned MBA degree from University of the Philippines and obtained Master of Science and Doctor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Universitas Indonesia. After gaining fifteen years of professional experiences in various industries, she then decided to take the plunge into the academic world since 2001. Her publications appear in Polish Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Management and Marketing Review, Makara Human Behavior Studies in Asia, South East Asian Journal of Management, International Journal Cyber Society and Education, Journal of Information Technology Applications and Management, Asian Journal of Information and Communications. Her research focuses on leadership and cultural values, cyber behavior among multi-generational workforce, and social media in the creative tourism.

Biography:


Professor Rajah is the Executive Director of the Center for Executive and Professional Development, CEPD London. He was until recently Dean of Business Schools in the UK and South Africa. Prof Rajah is a Chartered Manager and an eclectic scholar. His qualifications in Chemistry (BSc.), Chemical Engineering (MSc.) and Technology Transfer (Ph. D) has enabled him to generate more than two hundred publications; edited books, book chapters; peer reviewed and invited papers in scientific publications and professional journals, proceedings and a patent.in management, entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity as well as in food science and technology, agribusiness and agri-technology. He is also on the editorial boards of three journals. Professor Rajah is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, UK. Currently he is an Executive Council Member of the Institute of Productivity and Management, India and he holds Adjunct Professor positions at Hanyang University in South. Korea, FHM University in Germany and at the Iacocca Institute, Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA where he teaches on the unique ‘Global Village for Future Leaders Programme’. He has held Senior Executive positions with major blue chip organisations e.g. the multi- national Kraft Inc. (Scientist, Europe), HJ Heinz, Dairy Crest (European Marketing Manager) and Ernest George Limited (Commodity Trading Manager). He is a regular keynote speaker in international conferences and a first-choice event speaker and has been interviewed by the international press, radio and TV.

About five to ten percent (5-10%) of accepted papers will be selected as Outstanding Papers. The Outstanding Papers list will be announced in conference program.

Publication Opportunities

All registered manuscripts will be published in the Proceedings of International Symposium on Teaching, Education, and Learning. Competitive papers will be recommended the following Journals.

1. No matter the paper is single authored or multi-authored, if you would like to have the paper published in the conference proceedings, you need to pay registration fee for each paper.
2. In case the paper is multi-authored and more than one author would like to attend the conference, each attendee needs to make registration and pays the registration fee.
3. The conference registration fee covers admission to all conference sessions, one conference program booklet, one conference proceedings in USB Flash Drive format, lunches, and coffee breaks.
4. Unpaid manuscripts will be treated as withdrawn.
5. Cancellation Policy for the Conference
If the organizer cancels this event due to unpredictable disasters, unforeseen circumstances, and wars, you will receive a credit refund for 80% of the registration fee paid. Or you may use full credit for another conference organized by us within one year.
